The Egyptian people gather for a massive protest in Tahrir square in Cairo. Hundreds of thousands took Cairo’s Tahrir Square denouncing military rule of the country and united to ban Mubarak-era cabinet members including a spy chief from running in the upcoming presidential elections.
Not every protest is a noble one!
What’s pictured above is far from a noble cause! The so-called Leftists and Reformers opted out of this march. What you see tumblr, is a sea of Muslim Brotherhood activists and the Ultra-Orthodox Salafis (the same sect that birthed Ayman Al Zawahri).
So Egypt’s Dilemma: The Spy Chief or an Iran styled Theocracy? Sadly the reformers have been pushed by the wayside months ago!
